Jody Johnson
Senior Pastor
Jody was called into ministry in 2001 after spending several years as a high school teacher and baseball coach. He graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 2008. He and his wife, Stephanie, and their 3 children began serving at Faith in October of 2016. Jody loves to travel, watch baseball—especially Mississippi State and the St. Louis Cardinals—and spend time with his family. He has a heart for missions and disciple-making. Jody also loves to proclaim Jesus and teach the Word of God to help people reach maturity in their faith.
Bill Burke
Music Minister
Bill has been on staff at Faith for more than 20 years. He is married to Diana and they have 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. He is a volunteer firefighter and loves bluegrass, musical instruments, and Lionel Trains. He graduated from West Virginia University where he played in the Mountaineer Marching Band. Bill loves to see others grow in their faith and use their musical talents.
Marcos Moreno
Student Pastor
Marcos has served as Student Pastor at Faith since 2006. He and his wife, Wendy, have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. In his spare time Marcos spends time with his grandkids, likes to workout, and is an avid Disney fan. Marcos believes God has a plan for every student’s life, and he loves to help students figure out what that might be.
Jessie Evans
Children’s Ministry Coordinator
Jessie Evans joined the staff in September of 2025, but has been serving the children at Faith since 2017. She is married to Cliff and has a growing family with two children and one on the way. Jessie is driven by a God given passion for reaching children with the love of Christ and helping them grow in their faith. She enjoys spending time with family and discipling young women. She believes that having a foundation built on God’s word is vital to every child’s walk with the Lord.
Jenny Scott
Ministry Assistant
Jenny and her husband Billy have been married since 1980. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. She enjoys sewing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Jenny came to Faith Baptist Tipton in September 2020 after an administrative career of fundraising with ALSAC – St. Jude. She has a servant’s heart and feels truly blessed to serve Christ through Faith Baptist.
